Claus Plants
Removal of Hydrogen Sulfide from Gaseous Hydrocarbons
For applications in which the gaseous hydrocarbon or hydrocarbon product
contains 25% or more hydrogen sulfide, PPE offers an effective method to
remove the hydrogen sulfide from the gaseous hydrocarbon in the form of
elemental sulfur.
Claus Plants represent a widely accepted solution to sulfur-rich gas
streams utilizing the two step process to convert hydrogen sulfide to
marketable elemental sulfur.
PPE designed and built Claus Plants are operating successfully today.
